It's been really interesting seeing other small businesses pivot and come up with new ways of keeping their business going through the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. At first, I was pretty lost. I felt that my purpose was gone. No adventure to inspire me, no roaming with my camera. It took me quite a few weeks to realise that there was an opportunity to create a collection that would inspire hope of life after lockdown. The collection was a direct result of how I was personally feeling.

I hadn't planned for it, it wasn't within my current list of collections to create. It just kinda happened. And, I got really excited, reminding myself not to focus on what I 'should' be doing during lockdown, but what I feel like doing when the moment strikes. ⁠⠀

So here it is, the 'Days Like These’ collection. It's a collection of photographs from some of my adventures. I've specifically processed them in my Neon Gray style to have a retro feel and an air of nostalgia. I chose the wording really carefully, to be relevant to the here and now but also still feel perfect to inspire some wanderlust once all of this is over.⁠⠀
