As the nights grow darker, there seem to be about four hours of daylight here in Scotland right? It can be so tempting to stay indoors after you've finished your day. But last Tuesday, on Bonfire Night, I decided to brave the icy weather, slide on the thermals and pop down to the Botanics in Glasgow for this years GlasGLOW.
Back for it's second year, this year's theme was Nine Worlds, which included Marshmallowland and a pumpkin patch, all intertwined with retro 80's colours and synth music which, if you've been following us for a while, you'll know is like heaven to me. Total Stranger Things and Ready Player One vibes in the arcade which was a highlight.
In usual Neon Gray fashion, I got some snaps with my iPhone and a quick video to show you how spectacular it was.
If you happened to miss it this year, or like me you loved Nine Worlds, Part II, which is called Elfingrove, takes place at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in December. Part III is scheduled for January 2020.
Did you happen to pop along? What did you think of it? And are there any other winter events that I haven’t heard about?
