I've been down at the studio this week shifting everything around and making a start on rejigging the space. I pulled the shop area apart and removed the shelving and gallery wall from behind where my desk used to be. I've opened up the kitchen area and spent today creating a new space for my desk to live in front of the mural I painted when I moved in. I'm actually quite pleased with the progress despite the mess.
Neon Gray started out as an online only business and taking on the studio has only boosted that and allowed my business to grow so much over the last 6 months in particular. So, the website will remain open for orders for now and so long as the post office and Royal Mail continue to operate. I'm taking this day by day, just like everyone else.
We know it’s February so perhaps we’re a bit late to the party with a year in review. However, after spending January working on Neon Gray’s plans for 2020, we realised how important it is to reflect on what we accomplished in 2019.
If you’ve been following us over on Instagram recently you’ll have seen what a busy but wonderful past few weeks this has been for us. We just finished up on an amazing, albeit baltic, weekend at the Etsy Made Local in The Briggait and it was so lovely to see some familiar faces but also meet new Neon Gray customers.
I really wanted the space to be a bright, fun place to work and decided to paint a mural across the whole back wall of the studio. I'm loving memphis patterns at the moment and have started to incorporate them into the brand.
